What we've been up to: 4 December
From Eurobest Festival to COP21 to Christmas quizzes, the first week of December has been a busy one for H+K London!
Our Energy + Industrials team has been extremely busy this week working with climate think tank E3G to raise their profile as independent experts on climate change, and to ensure balanced reporting on COP21. As a result, E3G have received almost 40 pieces of high profile coverage since Sunday – CEO Nick Mabey was on BBC News all of Monday as their ‘presenters’ friend’ whilst Chairman Tom Burke has filmed segments for Sky News, BBC World Service, BBC Radio 5 Live and Reuters TV.
On Tuesday, Richard Millar and Simon Shaw hosted a thought-provoking event at Eurobest alongside Jon Barnes from Hyper Island – “How to disrupt your business’. They talked about how creative disruption challenges us all to make braver and better work, discussing how they rejected conventional agency norms to instead seek out a bold new creative frontier.
To welcome in December, our Financial + Professional Services got into the Christmas spirit on Wednesday evening, hosting a pub quiz for clients and partners! Whilst competitive, a great and educational night was had by all!
On Monday, the fourth edition of the Creativity in PR study was released. The Report, co-authored by Holmes Report and Now Go Create, in partnership with H+K, is based on a survey of 500 agency and client respondents from more than 35 countries. This year it revealed that the industry is finally starting to realise its creative ambitions, becoming a critical priority amid continued concerns over talent and investment.
