With a background in editorial content, Alex’s career has spanned copywriting, editing and creative direction, as well as client and agency leadership, strategy and growth.
Alex has worked across many of H+K’s top 30 UK clients, as both a Creative and as CCO. He has led creative content marketing programmes for many global brands across many different sectors in markets all over the world.
Alex currently leads H+K’s UK Sports team, where clients include adidas, IOC, HSBC, Gillette, Sail GP and FIFA among others. He is a keen tennis player and, as an avid West Brom fan, has an on/off relationship with the Premier League!
Alex’s career started in magazines, first in editorial and latterly as a publisher. He was MD of an international content marketing agency, John Brown Media – opening offices in S. Africa, Hong Kong, China, The Middle East, and North America.
Between 2014 and 2016, before life at H+K, Alex ran his own creative consultancy.
He has an MPhil. in Literary Modernism from the University of Cambridge
