Charlie Hopcraft

Charlie leads three sector teams across the UK business that focus on the impact on connectivity, community and societal purpose: Technology, Entertainment and Commerce.

She has worked inhouse and agency for three decades, focusing on brand strategy for consumer technology, e-commerce lifestyle brands and corpsumer storytelling. Her core expertise is integrated campaign creation and execution for consumer brands. 

Charlie works closely with brands to define their strategic communications purpose, ensuring campaigns have business impact, as well as audience engagement. She leads global brand hubs, working closely with WPP networks to ensure efficiency, processes and campaigns are executed to perfection. 

Charlie has worked on varied accounts providing unique insight and experience across a number of sectors from lifestyle to retail, consumer technology to energy providers. Past clients include: NICE, Vodafone UK, IHG, Huawei, Intel, FujiFilm, Navman, Gocycle, Mind Candy, Virgin Energy, Griffin Technology, Orbitsound and Midway Games. ​

Outside of her client work Charlie is the Thrive lead in the UK, H+K’s health and wellbeing programme for colleagues across the agency. 

Prior to H+K, Charlie was Head of Communications at Firebox; worked at Cohn+Wolfe on brands including Samsung, TiVo and Orange, in house at Michael Acton Smiths eCommerce offer, MySingleFriend; and at boutique agencies Iroquois and Beam.

​She studied PR at Bournemouth University, and has a passion for photography.
