Kate Hopper

Kate has two decades of experience leading campaigns across food, drink, hospitality and lifestyle brands, with common audiences and stakeholders at the heart.

She specialises in taking consumer brands, most recently Arla and McCormick, from cautious, brand-led focused work into boundary-pushing territories with award-winning campaigns that are making a difference to their reputation and broader business.

Kate’s team leads influencer work for clients like Chivas and Campari, moving them from #ad on an insta post to global fame-driving advocacy that has attracted the attention of new prospects, including Nestle.

She has also developed and driven sustainability-led strategies and campaigns for clients including Arla, Coca-Cola, Corteva Agriscience, The Ellen MacArthur Foundation and McCormick.

Her comms experience includes leading campaigns for major F+B companies, including Splenda, General Mills, Schwartz, Bassetts Vitamins Costa Coffee, Diageo, Nestlé, Mars, Mondelez, Premier Foods, Iglo and Danone.

She also has extensive experience in supporting major campaigns for commodity and agricultural boards including the Port Wine Institute,  Wines of Chile, Pacific North Western Wines, The Potato Council, Almond Board of California and the American Pistachio Growers’ Association.

Prior to joining H+K, Kate led Ketchum’s food, drink and lifestyle business; and worked at Mason Williams, leading their family and leisure sector and Westbury Communications. She began her career in PR at Communique (then Manchester’s biggest independent agency), where she worked on accounts from beer to burials.

Kate has a degree in Modern Languages (French & Russian) and European Studies from the University of Bath.
