Lisa Kilmartin

Lisa has over 20 years’ experience in reputation management and has provided counsel to a diverse portfolio of clients including founders and CEOs, government departments and global brands such as Mars and BAT. Her expertise lies in working with global brands with challenging issues or reputations.

Lisa currently leads H+K’s client relationships with Shell and Rio Tinto. Previously, she has advised on everything from PepsiCo’s Beyonce deal, to helping members of the Mars family on their legacy platforms and stop smoking campaigning for Public Health England.​​

She has also held a cross-practice senior leadership role at Freud’s and worked at Bell Pottinger. 

Working in the US and London for Freud’s, Lisa was responsible for managing integrated teams for the agency’s marque clients. Her work for Mars included corporate narrative development and the creation of visible leadership and purpose platforms for the board and Mars family. She drove behaviour change campaigns for Public Health England, including Change4Life and the award-winning national launch of Stoptober, and was Business Director for the PepsiCo global business, delivering global media and content strategy for its portfolio of brands and sports and entertainment partnerships. 

In the not-for-profit arena Lisa has worked with a global hedge fund CEO to realise his philanthropic ambitions leading the acquisition of, and communications strategy for, the charity Speakers for Schools and the creation of a family foundation. 

With a BA (Hons) in Journalism, Lisa began her career as a news reporter with the Daily Mail.
