
A former journalist, Sean specialises in media strategy, insight and senior counsel.
Sean spent over a decade working for globally-respected broadcasters including Sky News where he covered stories including London 2012, the war in Libya and London riots. He also spent two years as senior producer for Sky Sports News’ breakfast programme – covering major events including World Cup and Wimbledon.
Previously, he worked as a journalist for BBC Radio 2’s Jeremy Vine Show and BBC Radio 1 Newsbeat, reporting on a range of topics from General Elections and Budgets through to lifestyle stories and complex business deals. He also worked as a newsreader and on-air journalist for Absolute Radio, talkSPORT and the Guardian Media Group.
Prior to joining H+K, Sean held senior roles at three fast-growing agencies. He has worked across consumer and corporate accounts from all sectors. delivering award-winning campaigns for Jaguar Land Rover, LNER and Guide Dogs.
While building and overseeing teams of media specialists he has worked with clients including JPMorganChase, Mondelez, Pret a Manger, Barclaycard, Indeed, Moneysupermarket, wework, Kodak, World Chess and Ministry of Sound.
With a passionate interest in the future of news, he has provided senior counsel for media brands Stylist, Evening Standard, The Independent and JOE. He led crisis comms around the closure of Shortlist Magazine.
