Russell Reynolds Associates (RRA), is a leading global leadership advisory firm with a reputation earned through a history of excellence, partnership, and meticulous execution. Through the use of RRA’s extensive insights and data, H+K sought to underline the firm’s position as the foremost authority in boardroom development and succession. 

Leveraging a combination of owned data and quantitative information in the public domain, H+K and RRA developed and launched the CEO Turnover Index. The index includes data from 11 financial indices, with breakdowns across 13 sectors, presented on RRA’s owned channels using a combination of data visualisation and commentary, with more detailed information available to those who complete data capture forms.

At launch (April 2023), the core UK narrative shared with media was the revelation that CEO departures amongst FTSE 350 companies more than doubled in a year, as global turnover figures reached a five-year high. 

The UK launch alone achieved over 80 pieces of coverage, with highlight activity including the Financial Times, Reuters, Daily Telegraph, and the most prominent feature on City A.M.’s front page as the splash. The majority of coverage included comment and insights from Luke Meynell, Managing Director at Russell Reynolds Associates.

Working closely with RRA, H+K will continue to present the emerging quarterly data sets, narrative commentary, and targeted insights to journalists, to further establish and embed the Index – driving drumbeat coverage, brand authority and visibility, as well as opening up new relationships to augment future stakeholder activities.
