25 June 2020, London – Hill+Knowlton Strategies (H+K), an international public relations agency, has appointed Tanya Joseph as Managing Director of Specialist Services in London.
Tanya brings a wealth of communications experience and expertise from a distinguished career in the private, public and NGO sectors. She will lead a team of specialists across key services supporting H+K’s industry sector teams in the UK business. These services include corporate advisory, public affairs, behavioural science, executive coaching and internal communications, as well as crisis and reputation management.
A former journalist, Tanya has served as Press Secretary to then Prime Minister Tony Blair, and worked both in-house and agency side, for brands including Mars, Fujitsu, Tesco, Lloyds Banking Group, the Department for Work and Pensions and Nationwide. When at Sport England she was credited for being the architect of the multi-award-winning This Girl Can campaign, which in its first year inspired 2.8 million women to get active.
Tanya will expand on the agency’s mission to manage reputation, mitigate risk and grow clients’ businesses. Her portfolio also includes growing the team’s profile and helping organisations deliver authentic diversity and inclusion programmes.
