8 January 2021, LONDON – Hill+Knowlton Strategies (H+K), one of the world’s leading public relations firms, has secured a new mandate from independent climate change think tank, E3G.
The 26th UN Climate Change Conference (COP26) will be held in Glasgow, 1-12 November, having been delayed due to COVID-19 last year.
Following a highly successful engagement for 2015’s Paris Agreement, H+K will again help E3G cut through the increasingly clamorous conversation on climate change, providing balance and informed analysis to support governments and business around the world.
"E3G are the leading independent authority on climate policy, so I’m delighted to be working together again to ensure balanced reporting of COP26.”
E3G have been present at COPs since COP1 in 1995, providing strategic advice to support the UK and other governments. Led by Tom Burke and Nick Mabey, both former advisers to government and leaders of the climate community, they have long standing relationships with many of the diplomatic, policy and environmental voices influencing the COP.
“H+K delivered outstanding cut-through for E3G at the 2015 Paris Summit, helping establish us as independent experts and ensure balanced media reporting. We look forward to another successful year working together at this crucial moment for progress on climate policy.”
H+K’s Better Impact team will provide counsel and communications expertise to businesses looking to engage with the climate summit. Whether brands need to stay ahead of developments or lead those developments, H+K have the expertise and relationships to support.
As part of the offer, E3G will provide high level advice to H+K’s clients who wish to show climate leadership at COP26.
