11 April 2022, LONDON – Hill+Knowlton Strategies (H+K), one of the world’s leading public relations firms, has won a brief with AppyParking+, the UK’s smartest parking app. H+K’s scope will be to support AppyParking+’ consumer communications and brand reputation.
The win bolsters H+K London’s growing Mobility + Transport practice, which provides deep sector expertise and a breadth of communications experience, spanning content + publishing, data + analytics, event management, policy + advocacy engagement, and behavioural change.
Noor Kheir, Managing Director of H+K London’s Mobility + Transport practice, commented: “Parking is the number one bugbear of many UK drivers, who spend an average 44 hours a year searching for parking; having a huge impact on emissions and wasted fuel. At H+K we believe in working with businesses that are driven by purpose, so we’re thrilled to be communicating AppyParking+’s innovative data-driven approach to addressing these challenges.”
H+K will build upon AppyParking+’s existing brand awareness, helping grow its PR presence beyond its traditional B2B focus.
Dan Hubert, CEO and Founder of AppyParking+, said: “H+K has a great depth of knowledge in the mobility sector, bringing together both corporate and communications expertise. We were impressed by the breadth of their offering and their insightful creative approach that will help us build our brand and drive sign-ups to the app.”
The win adds to H+K’s mobility, logistics and delivery portfolio. Clients include a 21-year partnership with Ford, for whom the team have delivered multiple award-winning campaigns, including road safety initiatives, Share the Road WheelSwap, Very Gay Raptor and the Emoji Jacket.
