Earlier this month, H+K London hosted a PRCA Sports Group event: A day in the life of SPORTbible.

SPORTbible has re-invented sports media and represents a huge opportunity for sports PRs to reach a millennial audience. Yet if you’re not part of its target demographic you may have completely missed the fact.

The media channel, part of the LADbible stable, now boasts nearly 11m followers on Facebook where its content can capture more than 20m views. On a night when Man City are playing Barcelona in the Champions League, it can count 2.1m followers watching live table tennis instead.

Paul Rayner, SPORTbible’s publisher (and former Group Publisher at Dennis), and Josh Denzel, one of the channel’s hosts, described a Day in the Life of SPORTbible, describing how millennials’ favourite sports output is put together on a daily basis.

Paul and Josh told us how content is selected and commissioned, how it is coordinated between platforms and what happens in a typical day at the channel.

They even let us in on a few secrets along the way to help agencies and their clients get the coverage they want.
