H+K has been retained as Statoil’s primary communications agency for eight years, and work across the entire spectrum of communications services for the international energy company. Our work includes issues management and ongoing support with large scale campaigns, crisis communications, public affairs, development of communication strategies and more.
Statoil’s thought leadership platform www.energyrealities.org is designed to build awareness and knowledge of the company to support international growth. In 2014 H+K were tasked with redesigning and building a new site, and creating stories to bring to life the company’s brand proposition – Power of Possible.
H+K contributed to the design and build process of a new, fresh and engaging site in less than three months. Together with Statoil, we developed new content in a variety of formats, including videos and interactive infographics, grouped in four key themes that aligned with Statoil’s business: Technology & Innovation, Gas, Sustainability and People & Passion. During the campaign period (January – March 2015) the site had over 15,000 visitors, with dwell times reaching up to 4.18 minutes per article.
H+K also liaised with Statoil’s media partners to migrate content to the site, and planned new waves of content for 2015 to align with paid activity directing users to the site.
