Launching a new app, educating the masses towards a more sustainable London, and coordinating the biggest H+K event of the year – What hasn’t happened here at H+K is more the question.
For the last six weeks, our E+I team were conducting a whistle-stop tour of the country to educate audiences on the benefits and ease of getting a smart meter. Aboard a hybrid campaign bus, Kirstie Allsopp, Phil Spencer and comedian Susan Calman visited 9 cities across England, Scotland and Wales on behalf of Smart Energy GB. The team, made up of members from across our H+K London office, were responsible for delivering the experience at each event stop. This campaign also saw a national launch in London Westfield Stratford which led to interviews on ITV Good Morning Britain, BBC News, BBC2 and Sky sunrise.
As part of our Tech Speculators, Candace Kuss led a series of workshops to go over the award-winning entries and trends for Cannes Lions 2018. After judging the PR category at the International Festival of Creativity, she came back with food for thought and valuable insight into what made a Cannes Lion 2018 winner. Key trends and themes included equality, technology and accountability, with the winning PR Grand Prix being LADbible’s Trash Isles campaign.
Working for our long-standing client Procter & Gamble, our CPG team organised the #FeelSuper Campaign 2018. Collaborating with Frankie Bridge and Marvin Humes as key influencers, the aim of the campaign was to encourage shoppers to purchase products from Marie Curie displays or with a Marie Curie logo as P&G would donate £0.04 to the charity for every purchase. With a total reach of 282 million the campaign was a huge success for both P&G and Marie Curie!
H+K launched the newest crisis and risk offering, the H+K Crisis Control mobile app. While enabling companies to respond to incidents and emerging crises quickly and effectively is its star feature, it also gives clients 24/7 access to their H+K Crisis support team. Crisis procedures, protocols, and checklists in a mobile-friendly format, what more could you need? This new feature is available globally on both the App Store and on Google Play.
We are hosting our annual creativity symposium at The National Gallery on Wednesday 12th September. This year’s theme is Creativity+Humanity. More than ever, brands are being asked to reflect humanity through values and creativity. We have a star line up of guest speakers, including a creative technologist from Google, Ben Tan, and psychologist/author Dr. Elaine Kasket who will explore our digital legacies – what happens to our internet data after we die? We will also host an expert energy panel that will consider the forward-looking impact of the energy, natural resources and industrials sectors on humanity. Don’t miss out on a day of insightful discussion around the changing communications landscape. View our speaker line-up and RSVP here. Registration is free!
