The Food + Drink team launched the Schwartz Gluten Free range to a select group of media and KOLs at The Hospital Club, Soho, last week. Starting with an intimate VIP briefing with expert Amanda Hamilton and Ian Craddock for 6 x influencers, it was followed by a wholly-immersive ‘supper club’ experience, bringing the key messages of pure flavour to life by giving guests the chance to taste the new Gluten Free range.

Themed herb and spice infused drinks were served and followed by a carefully curated Gluten Free feasting dinner. Cinnamon and curried mango Petit Fours were served with teas and coffees. Using a dedicated hashtag, social buzz was created throughout the evening by leveraging the #GlutenFreeFlavour around the event, creating +1486% on social KPIs. With a current reach of 758k, and plenty more expected, the Food + Drink team had a thoroughly enjoyable ‘free from’ evening introducing the Schwartz Gluten Free Range to media/influencers.

This week we were delighted to launch the 10th annual Expat Explorer survey for HSBC Expat. H+K hosted #CannesUncovered – an evening roundtable and reception with ICCO, the PRCA and Cannes Lions team discussing opportunities for the PR industry at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. Talks from Cannes Lions, ICCO, past jurors and winners offered an insight into entering work, attending the festival, and reveal what’s new in 2017. Speakers included: Fiorenza Plinio, ‎Head of Awards Development, Cannes Lions; Candace Kuss, Director of Social, H+K Strategies and Charlene Corrin, General Manager, ICCO; followed by our expert panel including Kat Thomas, Founder & Global Executive Creative Director, One Green Bean; Arun Sudhaman, President and Editor-in-Chief, Holmes Report; and Joe Sinclair, Founder and Creative Director, The Romans.

A busy few days for the WPP Ford team who attended the 87th Geneva Motor Show this week. Circa 200 interviews were secured and managed with top tier European media and six major broadcast outlets, including BBC World, CNBC and Bloomberg. The Ford stand was dominated by the Ford Performance range, from the iconic Ford GT to the new Fiesta ST and drove extremely high footfall and interest throughout both press days.

In addition, six auto influencers from the YouTube world were hosted and shot a range of content covering numerous different hot ‘Performance’ topics. Paul Wallace & Sam Fane attended Ford’s eve of show panel with Top Gear’s Chris Harris discussing the ‘Thrill of Driving’ – they covered the full evening and were present for the global Fiesta ST reveal on their channels with overwhelmingly positive sentiment.

YouTube mega influencer Shmee150 attended and created content with the Ford GT (which he is an owner) with Ford Global Director of Performance, Dave Pericak, which is be published on Monday. Expect this video to receive huge views and positive mentions for Ford.
