This week the Sport Industry Awards judges visited H+K’s sports and partnership marketing team as part of our exciting place on the shortlist for their prestigious agency of the year award. After being greeted with a presentation by Andy Sutherden, the global head of our sport practice, via video call from Toronto, along with Anthony Scammell, Josh Connell and Emma Wright in London, the judges were treated to two minute ‘circuit training’ style presentations by various members of the team. Everyone from interns to directors took part explaining the core pillars of our work in 2016: applying behavioural science to sports participation, our content and publishing model, using sport for social good, eSports, our collaboration with other sectors within H+K and our global network.  All kept moving by Chelsey Furneaux, on loan from the healthcare and tech teams, with a whistle and stopwatch! The sports and partnership marketing team now await eagerly the result at the Sport Industry Awards on April 27th, to accompany their previous win for their work in 2012… Hopefully Olympic years are a lucky charm!

In June, Innovate UK will be taking over an iconic London gallery with incredible images of female entrepreneurs. The exhibition will be filled with images of fierce, intelligent – yet totally normal – women, aiming to completely change how we see and talk about these ladies. This week our E+I and CPG teams travelled up and down the country directing photo shoots with some of the most inspiring innovators in the UK.
