The week the CPG team launched the latest innovations and consumer insights from Braun beauty. The Braun Beauty #BringingBeautyHome mobile, gave press the opportunity to discover how they can ditch the expensive salon appointments with new and improved Braun at home beauty tools. Touring the publication houses of London, in a bespoke branded vehicle guests were able to get to grips with Braun at home beauty tools through 1-1 Beauty Confessional appointments with GP and skin expert Dr Anita Sturnham, who bought to life the key USP’s and product benefits of Braun at home beauty tools, whilst also providing  personalised skincare advice, pairing guests with their perfect at home Braun beauty product.

On-board the Braun Beauty Mobile press were also introduced to the latest consumer insights from Braun surrounding salon spending and the savings that can be made through the purchasing of at home tools. Bringing the event to the front doors of publication houses gave the team a great opportunity to secure face time with key media for whom out of office events are becoming increasingly popular and increasingly hard to attend. With attendance from over 30 press members the event was a resounding success, launching a new product within a key season for the brand.

The team were coordinated a photo shoot with the Film Editor of Mail on Sunday and looked after various bloggers, who were invited to enjoy CHEF- the official first screening at Westfield’s Open Air Cinema.

On behalf of Royal Salute – the ultimate British luxury whisky – this week, the Food + Drink team hosted HRH Prince Harry and more than 300 guests including VIP’s and celebrities such as Downton Abbey’s Joanne Froggatt and Guardian of the Galaxy star Karen Gillan, at the 2017 Sentebale Royal Salute Polo Cup in Singapore. The annual event raises money for Sentebale – a charity founded by the Prince to help support communities affected by the AIDS/HIV epidemic in southern Africa.

Utilising the H+K APAC and UK network, select global media and influencers based in the UK, US and across Asia were invited on a luxury press trip which immersed them in Royal Salute’s brand heritage and values. Over the course of the four day press trip, guests including journalists from Harper’s Bazaar, Lifestyle Asia, GQ and Singapore Tatler, were given the chance to try their hand at Polo at a bespoke Polo clinic led by Royal Salute Polo Ambassador, Malcolm Borwick and participate in an immersive multi-sensory whisky experience with star nose and Royal Salute Creative Advisor, Barnabe Fillion. They also attended HRH Prince Harry’s charity polo match and most importantly were amongst the first in the world to try new limited edition Royal Salute Polo edition.

To raise further funds for Sentebale and make this year’s event even more of an ownable moment for Royal Salute, we also launched a one-of-a-kind auction for the master blender’s bottle of new limited edition Royal Salute Polo Edition. The one of a kind bottle has been wrapped in a bespoke illustrative artwork that tells the story of Royal Salute’s seven year partnership with the charity. With a reserve price of £7,000, the auction is live until Wednesday 14th June on the Royal Salute Website.

With a strong media strategy in place, to date the hard-working press office teams have so far secured over 600 pieces of global coverage, with highlights including Mail Online, Red Magazine and E! Magazine. Following the press trip, in depth feature coverage, telling the brand’s story has begun to appear in Lifestyle Asia, Luxurious Magazine and Prestige Singapore, with many more to come.
